1. Topic – Making iodine solution

• Apparatus – Test tube, dropper
• Ingredient – tincture iodine.
• Experiment – Take ½ test tube water. Add few drops of tincture iodine.
• Result –Purple solution is used to test carbohydrates

2. Topic – Making copper sulphate solution

• Apparatus – Measuring beaker
• Ingredient – 2 grams of copper sulphate
• Procedure – In 100ml of water add 2 grams of copper sulphates
• Result – Blue solution used to test protein

3. Topic – Making caustic soda solution

• Apparatus – Measuring beaker
• Ingredient – 10gms of caustic soda
• Procedure – In 100ml of water add 10 grams caustic soda
• Result – Milky solution of caustic soda

4. Topic – Testing mud water

• Apparatus – Beaker, pH paper
• Ingredient – different mud sample
• Procedure – In a solution of water and mud, test the water with pH paper.
• Result – Different mud sample give different pH according to sample given.

5. Topic – Making lime solution

• Apparatus – Measuring beaker
• Ingredient – 2 gm lime
• Procedure – In 100ml of water add 2 gm lime. Keep it over night.
• Result – This is Calcium hydroxide solution

6. Topic – Displacement of copper by iron

• Apparatus – Test tube
• Ingredient – copper sulphate solution, iron nails.
• Procedure – Fill ½ test tube with copper sulphate solution. Add an iron nail. Blue color solution turns brown color.
• Result – Iron displaces copper.
