- Procedure – In 100ml of water add 2 gm lime. Keep it over night.
- Result – This is Calcium hydroxide solution

- Ingredient – copper sulphate solution, iron nails.
- Procedure – Fill ½ test tube with copper sulphate solution. Add an iron nail. Blue color solution turns brown color.
- Result – Iron displaces copper.
